MITRA Samaj has been very active in responding to emergency situations in the country. During the Covid 19 pandemic it was extensively involved in numerous interventions including series of rapid assessments for evidence-based response. Also, MITRA Samaj was actively involved in large scale humanitarian response post 2015 earthquake in Nepal.

At present, it holds active and long-term partnership with international development partners who are working in the area of Emergency Response and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) with its trained and experienced human resource who are capable to effectively and immediately respond at times of natural and humanitarian crisis.
