Mr. Latshering Glan Tamang is a skilled researcher and a media and development professional who holds over 15 years of experience in planning and implementing projects related to research, monitoring and evaluation, and media/communication. At present, Mr. Tamang is leading ‘Enhancing CSO and Media Capacity for Constructive Government Engagement and Public Oversight’, a sub-project under USAID-funded and FHI360-led five-year Civil Society: Mutual Accountability Project (CS:MAP) as the Project Manager.
With his skills in designing and planning various research, communication and development projects, Mr. Tamang takes MITRA Samaj to next level of achieving its mission of coordinating, collaborating and forge partnership with development partners to generate evidence, build capacities and work in togetherness in priority issues.
Before joining MITRA Samaj, Mr. Tamang had worked at SOLID (Society for Local Integrated Development) Nepal as Media Monitor for multi-country EU-funded project ‘Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health of Young People by Increasing the Age at Marriage in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
Mr. Tamang who had worked as Radio Program Presenter and Producer at Radio City FM is also the Editor of WAVE Magazine, the 24-year-old magazine which is the first youth magazine of Nepal.
