Mr. Poudyal has more than 20 years of work experiences in designing and leading large-to-larger scale of projects related to research, communication, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, social marketing, and event management especially in areas such as HIV, family planning, abortion, menstruation, and sexual and reproductive health.
The Master’s degree holder in Rural Development and Bachelor’s degree holder in Law, Mr. Poudyal who had worked in international organizations like Marie Stopes International/Nepal and Population Service International, now heads partnership model of MITRA Samaj, under which, 72 CSOs from 48 districts are united in strategic partnership and manages operation of MITRA Samaj.
Before joining MITRA Samaj, Mr. Poudyal has worked as VSC Mobile Service Camp Officer in USAID-funded SQH Social Marketing and Franchise Project in Marie Stopes International/Sunaulo Parivar Nepal and also as VSC Program Officer. Similarly, he was also employed under the same project as Centre Coordinator/In-Charge of static clinic from 2001 to 2003.
